What does MIDDA stand for?
The name MIDDA represents a person who firmly believes that strong language and communication skills, along with cultural competence, are the keys to success in our increasingly globalized world. This belief is shared by the entire team at the MIDDA Language and Skills Hub.
At the MIDDA Language and Skills Hub, we are dedicated to helping our learners succeed. We offer high-quality courses in languages and practical skills, complemented by individual counselling and support tailored to each student’s needs.
Our centre is located in a central yet peaceful area in the upscale Kampala district of Ntinda. Surrounded by a large, well-maintained garden and a guest house, our environment provides the ideal conditions for effective learning and personal growth.

MIDDA on Radio and TV
In 2025, the MIDDA Language and Skills Hub advertised on CBS, NRG Radio Uganda, 91.3 Capital FM and Bukedde 1 TV. The response was fantastic, with invitations to appear on Bukedde 1's breakfast show and lots of new enrolments. Listen to the radio advert or watch the videos to find out more about what MIDDA has to offer.

The German Language Speakers Association (GLSA)
Founded in 2023, the German Language Speakers Association (GLSA) is an independent organisation committed to promoting the German language and strengthening German-Ugandan relations. Under the leadership of its president, Samuel, the GLSA organises bi-weekly meetings that take place at the MIDDA Language and Skills Hub. While the events are hosted at MIDDA, the association operates independently in terms of its structure, goals, and activities. These gatherings offer opportunities for linguistic development, cultural exchange, and shared learning. Full details, including dates and topics, are available on the MIDDA website under the Upcoming Events section. Meetings are open to members, MIDDA students, and all interested individuals. External participants are kindly asked to register in advance to ensure smooth coordination.
